GENERAL BEQUESTS
Charitable bequests are gifts made through your will or other estate plans. Bequests can include cash, securities, real estate, life insurance, personal property and other assets. Bequests offer flexibility and can be structured to fit your personal situation.
RESIDUARY BEQUESTS
You may leave a gift of a fixed amount or a percentage of your estate. The reserved amount provides for your heirs first and the remainder or percentage thereof is passed to ECU Health Foundation. Bequests are deductible for federal tax purposes and there is no limit on the amount of the estate tax charitable deduction.
FLEXIBLE
Bequests are flexible and may be changed with your life circumstances. You are able to retain control of the asset during your life while also benefiting our organization by leaving a legacy.
